Your Appointment
Preparing For Your Appointment
Taking the first step to schedule a therapy appointment can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to make the process as simple and comfortable as possible.
To get started, call our office during business hours (910-298-6207) and let our front desk staff know you’d like to schedule a new appointment. You can also use our contact form to request an appointment, and someone will call you. They will ask for some basic information, including your name, contact details, and insurance information, so having your insurance card available is helpful.
If you’re interested in virtual therapy, just let our staff know during your call, and they can help you schedule a secure telehealth appointment if it’s an appropriate option for your needs. You may also be asked whether you have a referral from your provider and what type of services you’re seeking. This helps us match you with the most appropriate clinician.
Many people ask whether a referral is required, whether insurance is accepted, or how long it may take to be seen; our staff is happy to answer these common questions during your call. We have clinicians who are currently taking new clients, and can typically see you for a first visit within a week.
If you are scheduling for a minor, a legal guardian must be involved, and adults 18 and older must call for themselves.
Most importantly, you don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out. Our team is here to guide you through each step and help you feel supported from the very first call. We look forward to hearing from you.
